Steady growth has seen the company expand into Surrey Phototechnical and through to its incorporation as Camera Repair Direct in 2002.The workshop was quick to recognise the needs of both amateurs and professionals alike and established itself at the forefront of the industry. DIAGNOSTICS AND REPAIR Our diagnostic and repair centres are fully equipped with state of the art testing equipment which enables us to offer both an efficient and reliable service to the consumer and business alike. The mainstay of our business, historically, has been focused on our service to existing clients. Our client database covers a wide variety of customers, of which we currently provide a service to in excess of 125 shops, as well as off the street local trade. Camera Repair Direct enjoys an enviable reputation within the industry and in addition to our direct business we also carry out diagnostic and repair tasks for other repair companies. Such is our recognised standard of service we enjoy the accolade of being appointed to carry out repairs and supply spares for a number of manufacturers over their entire range inc. APS, digital and projector products. Our in house service has dedicated departments to cover all photographic items, inc.camcorders, analogue and digital equipment. Since the turn of the new millennium we have been expanding our direct business client base and believe that this approach is the way forward for professional and cost effective service. This fresh approach has rewarded us with a major diagnostic, repair and refurbishment program directly for a Japanese manufacturer.
